Malini's Annaprasana
My friend Malini had a big day this weekend. Her uncle helped her take her first bites of rice pudding - yum! 
And then, she had the important job of picking her career. First she was a little surprised that she had to make this big decision now. 
But she focused carefully on the choices and decided that her interest in science and medicine would have to be combined for an MD/PhD and a career in medical research. Which is good for her friends and family, since her brother and I both showed a preference for a career in golf.
