We just learned on Friday that my Omma in Denver has to go in for a yucky surgery on Tuesday. I sent my dad off to give her big hugs, but I wanted to do something for her myself, so my cousin Rosemary showed me how I could make beautiful artwork.

Good use for extra celery
The day after Thanksgiving we had many yummy leftovers (mmm, pie for breakfast). But, some of the leftovers were not that exciting, like lots of celery. Fortunately, the animals at Little Farm love celery, and since I am an animal sound expert these days, we thought it would be fun to go visit them. First, mama fed the cows some celery.
This is what I thought of the cows.
The goats were a little less scary and very cute, so I could feed them myself.

Happy Thanksgiving!
Thanksgiving was one busy and exciting day.
I helped Mom and Dad get ready by peeling the apples,
measuring the pecans for the pie,
conducting some quality assurance,
and finally, once I was dressed, sorting the recycling.
including parents who entertain us during parties

Jack, Maisy & Dad's Surgery
Molly, Suzanna, Jack and Maisy arrived on Monday for a weeklong visit. I've been having a ball playing with my old BFFs, from wrestling with Maisy over my walker
to looking up to big kid Jack

Quick Visit to Denver
I had a great time visiting family in Denver this weekend. We mostly went to see how everyone was holding up through Omma's chemo
but we also found time to go to the park,
play soccer with Pop, Uncle Chris, and Lily,
climb the stairs with Courtie,
play peek-a-boo with Aunt Julie,
and have good, clean fun in the bath.

Games Galore
The weekend was full of games - for kids...
and adults.
The grown-ups played everything from Carcassone to Boggle, but it was most interesting to watch them swing around a funny remote control pretending it was a tennis racket, a baseball bat and even a golf club.
Grown-ups are weird!

My Weekend in Tahoe
Thanks Eric, Erin, Anya, Byrne, Arin, and Harper for a fun-filled weekend in Tahoe!
I had a great time playing with everyone (esp. Anya and Harper),
gazing out at the blue, blue waters of Lake Tahoe,
and just enjoying some relaxing time out of the city.

Baby Harvest
It's the fall harvest in the Bay Area and, in addition to crisp apples and baseball playoffs, around here that means baby season. So many of my friends were born in September or October that I've been shuttling between birthday parties and welcome-to-the-world visits (does such a thing have a name?) for weeks. I visited Alexander Wong Byrd last weekend,
Coyotito Tena Shah last Thursday,
went to Kelsey's second birthday this morning, stopped by Lena June Schaaf Fahey's this afternoon

VPL's Birthday Foot Race
Last weekend I went to Violet P. Lemley's 2nd birthday party.
It was a big-kid party where not only were they all bigger than me, but they were really FAST. So they conferenced and agreed to spot me 3/4 of the race to handicap for my age.

The Stray Cat Strut
After several weeks of a few wobbly steps before crashing into Mom or Dad, I finally seem to be getting the hang of this walking thing. In fact, I think I'm doing the stray cat strut.
